Lanarkshire
A resident of New Lanark recalls that back in the early 1900’s when he was a young boy he lived in a flat above a surgery he awoke one night to see a lady in an Inverness cloak, black hat with veil covering her face, moving towards him then disappear as a bright red spark through a nailed and bolted closed door.
On the site of a former Franciscan monastery stands Lanark’s Clydesdale Hotel where a Grey Abbott has been known to push past people in the Hotel Cellar Bar which was once the monastery crypt
