Worth a visit is Inveraray Jail which offers a unique opportunity to investigate unexplained sightings by staff and visitors as you explore the Prison and Court House where 6000 men, women and children were tried and sentenced between 1820 and 1889.

How about the Occult mysteries of Iona or even the Castle of the Red Haired Maiden “Caisteal na Nighinn Ruidhe” where an apparition of a red haired servant girl, who was thrown to her death from the battlements as the result of betraying her master, is reported to haunt the castle.
