About Us
SPI was formed as the result of the need of the founders to create an investigation group whose focus was on the research and recording of paranormal activity, in preference to a subscription based membership and fan club. Most of us had previously joined such groups and although they have their place to provide entertainment to the masses, our interest became directed towards a more hands on and personal approach to investigating alleged paranormal activity.
Our aim is not to sensationalise every alleged bump in the night but to remain open minded whilst applying a common sense approach to investigating areas of interest that we have been invited to visit or that we have approached due to reported activity that we deem worth of research. At the request of the proprietors, some of our investigations may not be reported on this site due to the need for privacy however some sites are happy for us to publish our reports without the details of the property being revealed.
As you can see from the locations list, most public access sites are happy for their location to be published as for some reason……it often leads to greater public interest and therefore more visitors! We welcome the interest of anyone stumbling upon our website to view our reports and provide creative feedback intended to enhance our research.
